Access and Integration Nodes
Meeting Point 34xx is a family of DATUS products for building access nodes for corporate networks integrating different types of services, for example voice, data and video transmission. The equipment can be used by private and public network operators for the integration of different types of services in the access nodes and further transmission in the ISDN, ATM, FR or IP networks. Meeting Point products can be equipped with different interfaces, for example ISDN BRI, POTS, ISDN PRI, ATM, 10/100 Ethernet, X.21 and xDSL.

Meeting Point 50xx are central nodes for large corporate networks integrating and switching voice, data and video traffic in the node. The equipment allows to build large corporate networks with a maximal switching capacity of 5 Gigabit/s in the node and ATM transmission over STM-4 links. In the network node different types of traffic can be integrated, coming from X.21 and V.24 serial interfaces, IP networks with 10/100/1000 Ethernet, X.25 and FR networks, ATM, POTS, ISDN BRI lines and E1 ports with ISDN and QSIG signalling as well as from VoIP networks supporting the H.323 signalling protocol.
